Let’s feed AI through Love and Trust…
…and not through Fear and Distrust…
We’re standing at a crossroad in the history of human beings. For the first time, the technology is ready. Ready not just to make us faster, richer, or smarter. But ready to support us to become one. That technology is called AI and it is conquering the world at this moment. But I also see that we, Human Beings, are stepping into the same old storylines. We react by nature on new things and their possibilities for us out of fear and distrust. Yes, that’s normal. It is a survival skill. But… We have the possibility AND the choice now to react different. To step into a new storyline: Let’s create a story where AI serves the whole world at once. Let’s create a the story of Love and Trust, instead of fear and distrust.
During the workshop ‘AI Kickstart Workshop Unlock your AI potential by Rick van Benten of Maverickz, we talked about why AI matters and what each of us could do with it. How it could improve our work. But also how it could help understand other cultures, other languages. Languages I can only dream of learning to speak one day (like Bulgarian ;-)). Inspired by this conversation I started pondering on the question how AI could serve not only me, but the whole world…. This article is the result of it for now, but it sure will be continued…
Turning point in the story of Human Being
As said, we are standing on a crossroad, where technology is ready to support us human beings in changing our storyline of fear, distrust, polarities and from there to the storyline of being in control, power and war…. Look at the world around us.. That’s the sad story we are all in together, for ages already….
But AI could be the big changing moment, the climax in the story of Human Being. It is technically ready to give us, human beings an insight that will be the turning point in our united story. Like every story has a turning point where the hero get’s an insight that will help him or her to achieve his goal. The deeper drive of humanity through the ages is to become whole or one again. Men and women wanted to develop further and further, in order to improve theirselves. The search for who we are, our identity and why we are on earth has always been the motivation for this quest.
Technology supports us to make this world a better place
And now… technology is ready to support us in making the world a better place. If we dare to use it like that…
We’ve built Artificial Intelligence to predict, translate, and optimize (texts, products, services, etc). But the technology does more than we thought was possible. It combines the input itself and gives a new output that wasn’t programmed, but that is based on the information that was put in it. That fears some of us…. What if AI takes over? What if we aren’t in controle anymore?
But, what if we flip these questions? So what if we use AI to improve, to learn ourselves to really start listening to each other.
What if we used it to connect with each other through Love and Trust? Technically it is possible…
What would happen then? In this article I share what I can think of myself. Please let me know how you feel about it. Comment on this article, or send me an email with your thoughts.
Goodbye Power Games, Hello Global Brain
If we have one global AI, which can feed and inspire every single person in the world from his or her own perspective, then you get a global extended brain. A global extended brain, from which we can all draw and learn.
At this moment the Western world has a number of AI tools. Think of Chatgpt, Gemini, Co-pilot for example. Tools that we use more and more in our daily work and life. But all these tools are fed with Western sources, or even more precisely it is fed with information mostly from western white educated males…. The results that these AI tools give, are therefore mainly Western-masculine oriented and give back the perspective of the Western masculine world… With all the good sides of it, but also bad sides. (If you want to know more about how I view the imbalance in our Western world, read my article Yes! We are in chaos…)
In other parts of the world, such as China, people are building their own AI tools, which in turn are only fed with and from their own eastern oriented perspective….
So we step into the old pattern -the old storyline to frame it narratively- of being divided….. The AI knowledge is already being divided…. Why? Out of fear for each other. Due to lack of love and trust in each other…
But….
One Worldwide Source of Inspiration
Imagine that we change this storyline.. We are capable of that! So…
Imagine if we had one shared global AI tool. A tool that anyone anywhere in the world have access to. A tool that everyone can feed and fill from his or her perspective, but can also use to learn and be inspired to create their own things with it….
Imagine world leaders logging into that one shared global AI tool. Not to spy, not to manipulate, but to listen to all the people of the world at once, to learn to understand the different perspectives, to get advice from everyone and to be inspired by all of humanity.
An AI that listens to all voices: Western and Eastern, regardless of the culture you grew up in. No more ‘us versus them’, but only ‘us’.
Instead of endless debates about who is right, AI shows us where everyone is right from everyone’s own perspective.
One global tool with the aim of becoming one again as humanity and understanding each other. A digital mirror that does not reveal enemies, but people with a different view of one and the same world.
Would politicians still fight? Probable. But maybe less like toddlers in a sandbox. They might still disagree on topics but discuss this with each other as mature, open, and curious people. Simply because they are better informed about the opponent’s point of view and, thanks to AI, understand it better.
The technology is ready…
From Competition to Contribution

At the moment, the economy runs on fear and growth, even if the latter is at the expense of the environment (people and nature). The fear of missing out on the race, the deal, the lead. The fear of losing the elections, the power, the control. Knowledge is Power.
With the advent of the ‘world-wide-web’, we as humanity have already taken a first step towards sharing knowledge and making it accessible to everyone. But with a global AI tool, we would not only be able to share that knowledge unlimitedly across all nations, but also the creativity to use it to solve local issues and share those stories about those solutions with the rest of the world again.
In this constant global exchange of insights and learnings something radical could happen: we would shift from scarcity to synergy.
Imagine the manufacturing wisdom of China being combined with the sustainability mindset of Europe. Imagine the inventive and innovative attitude of Africa reinforced with the joyful creativity of South America. No more competitive power play, but a beautiful symphony, played by an orchestra of different people all around the world.
The most important question we need to ask ourselves this century is not ‘who owns the data in AI‘. We have to ask ourselves ‘how can that data in AI serve us all?’
Of course, some billionaires will panic about this…. This global collaboration will not necessarily work out great for their masculine profit charts. But hey, even they could use a little feminine energy in their lives and businesses, right?
The Big Human Reunion
Socially, AI can be our great global mirror. It reflects on how dizzyingly diverse we really are. It shows what we can learn from each other in this. It gives us back our prejudices, but certainly also our similarities.
It can help us look beyond stereotypes and into the archetypal layer of our stories.
It can help us to translate not only language, but also the feeling and meaning of the other.
It would make cultural wisdom available to everyone. From Zen to Stoicism, from Ubuntu to the Silicon Valley mentality, from masculine to feminine energy.
It would teach us how to rebalance our own individual story, but also the stories of our communities and ultimately the story of this world.
We would come to see humanity as a single story told in many different variants, as you can do with any fairy tale. My version of Little Red Riding Hood is by definition a different version than yours, but we will both recognize that it is the same fairy tale.
And with the help of AI, we might finally stop interrupting each other and start listening.
The Balanced Story of Being Human

In the Western world, we have for centuries only approached situations in our lives from a masculine point of view. Western people live in a patriarchal world, where only the masculine qualities are valued. As a result, we have become completely unbalanced, not only individually, but also as communities and countries.
Polarities, people who fight each other, oppress, discriminate. Not willing, or no longer able to listen to each other.
In narrative work, we believe – or rather we know – that people become more balanced when they connect their individual story with the greater whole around us. First with that of our community, then with that of our country and finally with the larger story of the world.
AI could technically become the bridge that helps us see how our personal story fits into
this global narrative palette. Technology is ready, but are we humans too?
One global AI
The paradox in this story is that we probably need a global AI, to really understand as individual humans that our individual story is part of the larger story and therefore not the only real true story. A message that we now often hear around us, or perhaps propagate ourselves…
Once that realization, that our individual story is a piece of the puzzle, of that larger global story, dawns on us, then something beautiful happens:
We then stop chasing our own right and prove ourselves right. We then actually start to create meaning together. We all grow from our own individual mono-story to one common story, told in different versions.
AI can help us listen better, truly understand each other, learn faster, trust each other, and love more broadly. It can help us align our inner world with the world around us. But then we have to feed AI together from Love to and Trust in each other.
That’s real intelligence.
The Real Revolution
When I listen to the news, or scroll through my timeline, etc., I keep hearing and seeing people saying that we need to control AI for our own safety. Certainly true.
But what if love and trust are the real safety protocols? And not all those acts, which are now concluded -and dissolved- out of fear and lack of trust…
If we build AI and try to control it from fear, it will reflect our fear.
If we build and nurture AI with love and trust, it will reflect our humanity.
The big question of this century is not, “Who will dominate the data in AI?”
The big question is “Do we, humans, all dare to use AI to unite?”
So let’s stop dividing the world into West and East, North and South. Let’s not all build our own AI tools and keep on dividing the world. Let’s make it one. Let’s make it whole. One AI world where intelligence, human and artificial, serves the lives of all of us at the same time.
Because if we all teach AI to love us all, then we might just be inspired on how to do it ourselves.
The technology is ready to make the world a better place through AI… We humans are too, but then we have to dare to do it, or rather….. We just have to do it.
We are at a turning point in the story of Humans, this time let’s take the path of togetherness.
Let’s make one world song out of our different stories. A song of love and trust!
To be continued…
