Content of the card deck

I know, there are a lot of beautiful card decks on archetypes out there, but most of them only focus on the archetypal persons, like the Father, Mother, King and Queen etc. I always missed the places, the tools and the animals, for example. They have an archetypal energy too and that’s why I wanted to create a set which included these kind or archetypes.

So this card deck contains 4 categories of cards:

• Persons,
• Places,
• Tools and
• Animals.

In totall you’ll have 40 different archetypes. Eventually, the card deck will be available in three languages: Dutch, Bulgarian and English. But we start with the English version.

Archetypal wisdom

Every human being has all archetypal wisdom within him or her. Ancient and universal patterns of behaviour that are embedded in all of us. Carl Jung called it our “collective unconscious.”

This card deck helps you to connect to this inner wisdom, so you can benefit from it in your daily life. Each archetype comes along with a question, related to the archetype. You can ponder the answer on it, while focussing on a topic you have to deal with. In the leaflet that comes along with the card deck each archetype is shortly explained and you’ll find some exercises that could help you to connect to your inner wisdom.

Archetypal dance of creation

The creation of this deck was a great international collaboration between the Bulgarian illustrator Rada Penava, Iana Avramova of Learn-to-Inspire and me.  Together we dived and danced with each card to sense the meaning and the expression of it in words & senses. After that Rada transformed the archetypal message into beautiful little paintings. Because that’s what each card is: a beautiful little powerful painting
